Yakov Pavlov was a Soviet Red Army soldier best known for defending “Pavlov’s House” during the Battle of Stalingrad, where a small group of Soviet troops held off repeated German attacks for nearly two months.
Awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union for his leadership and bravery, Pavlov became a symbol of Soviet resistance and remains one of the most iconic figures recreated in custom LEGO WW2 minifigure form.
